Giudecca women’s prison – Giudecca island – Venice – Italia
Marina e Susanna Sent, together with Rosa Chiesa, a historian and critic of contemporary design, will be participating in the meeting “Transparency and glass: looking through” , at the Giudecca women’s prison which will be open to inmates and the public to create an opportunity of exchange between the jail and the city of Venice.
Drawing on a series of examples, they will show how glass has not one but multiple appearances, and its wealth and potential can offer countless everyday and artistic uses.
